The Power of the Resurrection
The power of the resurrection validates all the other facts of the gospel. Yes, Jesus was born of a virgin. Yes, he lived a sinless life. Yes, he died a substitutionary death. Yes, He was God. But what validates all of these truths is the fact that he rose from the dead. No wonder Paul was so enraptured with the power of the resurrection. We see the power of the Resurrection in Paul’s conversion. Here was Paul, on his own road to hell. Breathing threats and desiring to persecute all believers. Yet, the Risen Lord literally stopped Paul in his tracks and in an instant Paul was changed. He went from darkness to light. From hell-bound to heaven-bound.

Rooted – Good Friday
On Friday, March 25 Pastor Mike highlighted the three Great Imputations at Rooted on Good Friday. He focused on imputed sin, imputed righteousness, and the imputation of our sin upon Christ.

Isaiah Series
When you think of one mountain in the world, you usually think about Mt. Everest. There is a “heavenly” Mt. Everest found in Isaiah 53 and no text in the Old Testament gives a more detailed description of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. There are many prophecies of our Lord in the Old Testament, but the one that stands head-and-shoulders above the rest is here in Isaiah 53.

Hebrews Sermon Series
Scripture is like a sponge that if you were to squeeze would eternally drip out the supremacy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything in Scripture points to the Lord Jesus Christ … even the genealogies. The author of the Book of Hebrews points the persecuted Jewish recipients back to the Old Testament and shows how Christ has fulfilled everything and is in fact SUPERIOR.
